iText Oscon 2017 - wrap up
After our first visit to OSCON last year, we re-attended the event in Austin last week. The show was again a great chance for us to get back to our open source roots. We talked about our company and products, what our advanced pdf functionality can bring to open source or commercial software, how our product could fit into the open source community and how some of the ongoing open source projects would be able to help us here at iText. The show had a really good atmosphere and there were games that attendees and exhibitors could play in the downtime, we're glad to be part of the excitement...
PDF Days Europe 2017
Next week iText will be present at the three-day PDF Days event, hosted by the PDF Association. Singapore: Marina Bay Sands by night
As you probably know, iText Group has a subsidiary in Singapore: iText Software Asia Pte. Ltd. GIDS 2017
For the second year in a row, iText was present at the Great Indian Developer Summit in Bangalore, welcoming more than 1,200 developers every day, four days in a row. Our CTO, Bruno Lowagie, had a keynote session on Wednesday; iText developer Joris Schellekens talked about Natural Language Processing on Thursday. Many developers had their picture taken at our photo booth. Bruno was interviewed about the 10th anniversary of GIDS. Four lucky winners went home with a headset. It was great, it was fun, we hope to see you all in Bangalore next year!
