Our CEO was one of the speakers at the Business Angels Day in Antwerp. The theme of the day was "Think Global, Invest Local":It goes without saying that a talk about iText was very much on topic. Bruno showed some of iText's customers in the government sector, both in the US and Belgium, explaining how we're working on a good relationship with integrators.
The ISO Committee meeting was about ISO-32000-2, the new specification for PDF 2.0. The venue was really beautiful: the National Archives and Records Administration which is housed in the National Museum of the American Indian in New York. We also discussed AFP and PDF/UA.
iText is excited to have participating in the ITEX National Conference in Las Vegas. It was great to get to know the other companies and people at the ITEX conference. We learned a lot and met many great people.
For the third year in a row, iText took part in the Open Source Think Tank, organized by Black Duck Software. This year, instead of two plenary days, the first day consisted of two tracks: one traditional track, the other a one-day Community Leadership Summit (CLS), led by Jono Bacon. We thought it was a great idea to combine a Community Leadership Summit with the Open Source Think Tank.
