iText rocked the house at Devoxx Antwerp 2014!

As always, we love meeting fellow developers from all over the world and learning from each other - and Devoxx is one of the best places to do so in Europe. This edition of Devoxx was right in our backyard in Antwerp, Belgium, so that made it even more special. We met a number of folks from the neighborhood, young students from nearby Ghent University (where iText started) and welcomed many others visiting Belgium.

The iText team made the best of it:

  1. Spoke to over 200 folks who stopped by our booth

  2. The #devoxx Tweets were coming in, mentioning @iText

  3. Gave away three cool pairs of iText branded headsets each day

  4. Had a crowd 40-50 developers in front of our booth each day for the daily raffle

  5. Awesome interest to Bruno Lowagie's presentation "The Founder's Dilemmas"

  6. A full room of people during a late-night session (9-10pm) on "PDF is Dead: Long Live PDF" by one of our engineers Michael Demey

  7. Gave out free vouchers for "iText in Action" to the most interested

  8. Our friends from Roots Software joined us at the booth to help talk about their implementation of iText

  9. Belgian beer was pouring everywhere

  10. Belgian fries with mayo were always a hand away
