In 2015/16, the founders of iText, Ingeborg Willaert and Bruno Lowagie, were nominated in the category "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the European Business Awards. They eventually won the public vote in their country and became the National Public Champion for Belgium. In 2016/17, iText decided to compete in the category "Business of the Year (0 - 25M revenue)" and guess what: iText won a nomination as National Champion.
