iText at PDF Days Berlin 2017
Two weeks ago our iText team has attended PDF Days Europe in Berlin. More than 200 participants came together on the two-day event to discuss important projects for PDF: The finalisation of ISO 32000-2 (PDF 2.0) , a publication of the ISO standard is expected soon. PDF Days Europe 2017
Next week iText will be present at the three-day PDF Days event, hosted by the PDF Association. This year, the event will once again be held in Berlin, and more than 150 attendees have already registered! Not yet registered, and not sure why you should attend? The PDF Days Conference is quickly approaching, held in Berlin May 15-16. At the conference, the PDF Association will host talks about PDF Specification updates and reveal some seriously big news. Although, we don't know everything, we do know that the big reveal for this year's PDF Days will be BIG. The super secret project is code named "next-generation PDF”. Easily the most exciting (and radical!) development in PDF technology for years, next-generation PDF marries core PDF capabilities to the flexibility of web technologies. The development of this technology is ongoing, and actively supported by many members of the PDF Association, including iText. The real name, purpose and status of “next-generation PDF” will be revealed in the initial Keynote session and subsequent dedicated track at PDF Days 2017
Today kicked off the two-day PDF Days event, hosted by the PDF Association. This year, the choice fell on Berlin as the host city of choice to gather the PDF world's finest minds and premium vendors.
