Maintaining and further developing current and future products in a worldwide development team of about 10 people
Customer and technical pre-sales support
Initial focus on technical customer support to build up knowledge of PDF and iText technologies, and their use cases, which will require you to confer a lot with other developers and means you will regularly dive into code
Getting familiar with our existing code base (200K+ lines) in a relatively short term
Analyzing problems and, where needed, questioning a customer's pre-analysis or going back a few steps
Redesigning code where needed to ensure a long-term solution
Collaboration skills with internal colleagues as well as people from other iText-companies
Experiences and Skills Required
At least a Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equal by experience
Knowledge of Java is a must; knowledge of .NET is a plus
Ability to work independently and love working in a development team
Strong English skills, both written and oral
