Analogous to Time and other famous magazines, Belgian IT magazine Computable metes out the ‘IT person of the year’ award every year. iText founder and CEO Bruno Lowagie appears in 2015’s list of 50 nominees. Other nominees include various business leaders, visionaries and politicians. Competition is tight, so we wish Bruno the best of luck in clinching the award! Although it may not be immediately obvious because of our modest nature the fact that iText’s presence in companies and products is unobtrusive, research from Adobe revealed at the PDF Technical Conference in San José that iText is the source of 8% of the world’s PDF documents.
