NDC Oslo 2017 - part of the iText team
Last week, iText was present for an NDC event - a Software Developers Conferencce - in Oslo. It was a great success with over 2,000 attendees over the 3 days. A number of the attendees stopped by the iText stand to discuss their Document Strategies and how we could support them. As well as the great conversations we had, we also ran a competition where participants could have their photo taken with us in the booth and put it on the “iText wall of fame” and the iText Twitter page. iText Oscon 2017 - wrap up
After our first visit to OSCON last year, we re-attended the event in Austin last week. The show was again a great chance for us to get back to our open source roots. We talked about our company and products, what our advanced pdf functionality can bring to open source or commercial software, how our product could fit into the open source community and how some of the ongoing open source projects would be able to help us here at iText. GIDS 2017
For the second year in a row, iText was present at the Great Indian Developer Summit in Bangalore, welcoming more than 1,200 developers every day, four days in a row. Our CTO, Bruno Lowagie, had a keynote session on Wednesday; iText developer Joris Schellekens talked about Natural Language Processing on Thursday. Many developers had their picture taken at our photo booth. Bruno was interviewed about the 10th anniversary of GIDS. Four lucky winners went home with a headset.
