What does a boat, a baby, marketing technology and PDF have in common? The Cafe des Belges booth at SXSW 2017.
The Café des Belges booth was a Belgian delegation, brought together by Startups.be, a great partner of ours. The delegation included 10 Belgian companies this year, in a café format. Our menu included a little of each of these innovative Belgian companies: Jack, Look, ONAK, Sentiance, Muuselabs, Farmboy, Fifteen24, Foodpairing, Yondr and iText
We had some great visitors to the booth, most notably Prince Constantijn from Oranje, the Prince of the Netherlands.
Sunday evening we co-hosted two exciting events. The first was an iText and Startups.be happy hour at Mort Subite, a Belgian bar on Congress street in downtown Austin. With Belgian beers and BBQ we networked with some of our customers and friends new and old.
Sunday night we were also a founding sponsor of the Fete des Belges event, a great party with Belgian DJs; DJ Pierre from the famous nightclub FUSE in Brussels and DJ Buscemi. It was a great night, with lots of support for Belgium and our businesses.
