Olivier Van den Broecke
Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Olivier oversees global HR and is a driving force for iText’s Human Capital strategy, which includes talent acquisition and development, career mobility, appreciative compensation and benefits, innovative HR services, policies, tools, and structures.
Together with the leadership team, he helps safeguard iText’s distinguishing culture of continuous growth and positive engagement of all employees.
Olivier, who joined iText in October 2019, brings a wealth of experience in human resources management. For more than two decades, he has supported numerous companies in their HR and Talent Mobility.
Prior to iText Olivier worked for 10 years at SBS Skill BuilderS – a leading Belgian-based HR consultancy firm. As Manager for HR Expertise & Innovation and member of the leadership team, he led and implemented many challenging HR projects for several renowned international companies; such as Johnson & Johnson, BNP Paribas Fortis, General Motors, Orange, KPMG, Milcobel…
In parallel, for several years as co-founder of SBS HR Road2TheFuture, and as journalist and columnist for HRmagazine, Olivier interviewed dozens of well-known leading politicians, academics, captains of industry and HR professionals on the newest trends, topics and innovations within HR.
Olivier is a firm believer that companies can only be successful when powered by committed and inspired people who strive to be active advocates for all employees.
Olivier holds a master’s degree in Corporate Psychology from the Ghent University (Belgium), a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Leuven (Belgium), a bachelor’s degree in Social Security and Labor Law from Howest (Belgium) and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences as free student at the University of Ghent (Belgium)
Olivier is married and has two children.
